UK Graduate Programmes

To develop our future leaders, we’ve designed a thoughtful three-year programme that recognise your strengths and provides development tailored to you. Our programmes offer you a huge range of exciting and significant roles, comprehensive training, genuine responsibility and personal mentors, to ensure you have the opportunity to stand out in your chosen field.

Training and Development

We don’t expect you to be the finished article on your first day, so we've put together a Graduate Development Programme that runs over three years, with a focus on how to turn your potential into specialist skills and grow your career.

You provide the determination and in return the Graduate Development Programme will give you the building blocks to accelerate your career progression. You will find yourself taking part in everything from business simulations, interactive masterclasses and outdoor experiential learning; all designed to build your skills in a range of stimulating environments.

Throughout the programme you'll have the chance to create a wide-reaching network with other graduates across the UK business. You'll also engage with an Early Career Manager to support you make the most of your opportunities as you develop and grow.

Our three-year programmes have been thoughtfully designed to provide you with development, experiences and opportunities to help you grow into a future leader.

What you'll need

  • A minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) predicted or achieved

  • Actuarial graduates will need a minimum A-grade in Mathematics at A-level and be studying for a numerical degree

  • At least 112 UCAS points (or the equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding general studies

  • A-C grade in Maths and English GCSE

  • Flexibility around location as you could work across a number of our offices in the UK

Want to apply?

As you would expect, we have a thorough selection process to ensure we’re able to recruit top talent. Here you’ll find the four stages which we aim to complete within six weeks.

  • Stage 1: Online application form

    Your first step will be to complete an online application form. This includes some eligibility questions which will help us to check you meet the requirements of the programme.

  • Stage 2: Value based assessment

    You should allow 30 minutes to complete our values based assessment, where you’ll be asked to choose between different approaches to situations at work. You will need to meet our requirements before progressing through to the next stage.

  • Stage 3: Online tests & video interview

    You should allow approximately 30 minutes for the online tests and video interview questions. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate cognitive skills through engaging games. Each game will take just a few minutes to complete and you can be sure of a fun and enjoyable experience.

    For the video interview stage, you’ll record your response to our pre-recorded questions.

  • Stage 4: Assessment centre

    During the assessment centre you'll meet members of the Zurich team and current graduates. Our assessment centres include a combination of interactive exercises; an interview, case study and group exercise. Do make sure you prepare by revisiting the details of the programme you have applied for and researching our company, including services and products we provide.

    This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Zurich and to meet various representatives from the business.
