Our actuarial internship programme
At Zurich, we are keen to recruit talented individuals with high potential. Actuarial internships are an excellent way for us to spot new talent and for our interns to take on real responsibility from day one.
If you are interested in an actuary internship, our 10-week internship programme or 12-month industrial placement will give you a range of opportunities to build career-enhancing skills in a professional environment and enable you to make an informed decision about a future career with Zurich.
Along the way, you’ll gain invaluable knowledge, skills, experience, and networking opportunities, as well as unrivalled exposure to how a leading multi-national insurance company operates.
As an actuarial intern you'll have a pivotal role in our business. You’ll be responsible for identifying, analysing and quantifying our financial risk and its consequences. To do this, you'll be shown how to study historical data, assess current risks and create models to forecast the future. The work is highly demanding and challenging, but if you're a motivated and ambitious person you won't find a better place to prepare for your future career.
Training and development
During your internship we want you to have the opportunity to develop your skills and learn more about the breadth of Zurich. That’s why we’ve put together an Intern Development Programme for the duration of your internship. You can expect to take part in skills-based sessions and business-wide project groups to accelerate your learning and development.
