You’ll also need to work well in a team and should be highly motivated and articulate, with the drive to succeed while completing your professional qualification.
What will I be doing?
You’ll have opportunities to work with other accounting graduates and colleagues to widen your network. Our accounting grad schemes are designed to give you hands-on experience and insights into all essential accounting roles, laying a strong foundation for your career development. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, on tasks that include financial reporting, management accounting, business partnering, expense analysis and transformation projects.
During the three-year programme, you’ll complete three one-year rotations across our accounting teams. Whichever team you’re in, you’ll get to learn from some of the most talented professionals in the business, who will encourage and guide you to be your best.
What else can I look forward to?
As an accounting graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. You'll learn from industry experts and senior managers who really care about your development. We are passionate about ensuring you settle into the working environment effectively, so we'll pair you with a buddy or mentor who used to be or currently is an apprentice.
In addition to the day-to-day work in your department, you’ll also get to work on real projects that make a difference to our business and customers. That might mean transforming processes, helping out with the business’s finances, or creating management information systems.
Where will I be based?
Our accounting teams are mainly in Whiteley and Swindon, so you’ll need to be flexible on location. You'll also need to travel to our London office during your time in the scheme. As some of our businesses require you to work at different sites, you’ll need to be flexible throughout the three years of the programme as we may require you to change location as part of your rotations. We also offer flexible working, which you can talk about with your manager.
