Marketing apprenticeships

About our marketing apprenticeship programmes

As an apprentice within our marketing function - known as our Customer Office - you’ll get plenty of hands-on experience with some of the best marketeers in our industry. The rotational element of your marketing apprenticeship will allow you to discover teams such as digital experience, events, and broker and customer communications. This will help you become a rounded and knowledgeable marketeer, with a strong understanding of what makes a great marketing team.

Our apprenticeships in marketing will help you to achieve a professional qualification, but you'll also:

  • Learn about various marketing theories, concepts and principles
  • Understand more about our business structure, vision, priorities and objectives, and how your role in the customer team supports this
  • Work on a marketing plan, while finding out more about how plans are built and their purpose
  • Create content using design and copywriting principles, including how to adapt it for online and offline mediums
  • Discover current and emerging technologies, software and systems, which impact on marketing
  • Develop your understanding and interpretation of briefs from stakeholders and how to measure delivery, in line with agreed timelines
  • Study and develop skills that are aligned to the Chartered Institute of Marketing affiliate level.
