Our remote work experience has been designed to help you explore real-world careers and build the confidence and skills that employers value. During our two or three day sessions, you'll hear directly from industry professionals and from those early in their careers with us.
You’ll also discover the interesting and varied work we do across the financial services sector. It’s a great opportunity to see how insurance could be the perfect match for your strengths and skills. And with so many career choices available, there’s something for everyone. Insurance is so much more than you think!

Wondering if our virtual work experience is right for you?
Virtual work experience is a great way to learn more about the exciting world of insurance and to put your enthusiasm and passion into action. Along the way, we’ll help you develop important skills for your future, such as problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills. You’ll come away with a better understanding of yourself, the different paths into our industry and how you can impress future employers. Insurance is evolving quickly, so this is your ideal chance to get ahead and find out more.

How do I register?
Your school will need to register with Futures For All first. After they have enrolled, students can then apply directly. For more details on how to register, please watch this video from Futures For All.
I’m at university, can I join the virtual work experience?
No, our virtual work experience has been created for students who are currently in school or college. You may be interested in finding out more about our internships or graduate programmes.
How long will the virtual work experience last for?
Our virtual work experience sessions last for two or three days. You can find details on our Futures For All advert for details when we’re open for applications.
Do you offer in-person work experience?
We don't provide in-person work experience centrally, but if you're interested in a local placement, email us your preferred dates and area of interest. We'll try to accommodate you, though we can't guarantee availability.
Do I need any prior experience or specific subjects?
No, all you need is to be willing to learn! There are so many career options in insurance and people come from a wide range of backgrounds. How will I find out if I’ve been accepted? Once we’ve reviewed your application, you’ll be contacted via email.
What technology do I need to take part?
You’ll need access to a laptop, computer, tablet or phone to join.
Is support available if I don’t have reliable internet or equipment?
Support is available from Futures For All before, during and after a placement, details of how to access this will be shared once a young person is accepted onto an opportunity. We unfortunately are unable to provide equipment for you to access work experience but would encourage you to speak to your education establishment.
Is the programme accessible for students with additional learning needs?
Zurich & Futures for All aim to be as inclusive as possible for all young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Additional Support Needs (ASN). Remote work experience removes several traditional barriers, and we will work to the best of our abilities to provide reasonable adjustments.
