Our change and technology management graduate programme
We’re looking for bright, enthusiastic and ambitious graduates to join our change and technology management stream.

Or developing your technical and analytical skills to help drive the implementation of critical business decisions. Or working with major strategic suppliers.
We’ll help you build a strong portfolio of technical, change management and leadership skills to drive your career in a fast-moving, competitive and business-focused environment. We’ll give you the support you need to help us transform our business. In return, we’ll expect you to make an impact right from the start.
What will I need to apply?
Please ensure you have the indefinite right to reside and work in the UK before you apply as we are unable to provide sponsorship. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years at the time of application.
You’ll also need the following:

- At least 96 UCAS points from 3 A-level subjects (or equivalent)
- A minimum grade C/4 in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
- We are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to the office workplace applied for
What skills will I need?
You’ll need to be able to grasp complex concepts in a business environment, have fantastic team-working, communication, organisation and influencing skills, together with real enthusiasm and drive. While an interest in technology is desirable, you don’t need to have an IT-related degree to work with us.
What will I be doing?
We want to develop future change and technology leaders who understand the breadth of our business and how they can contribute to great customer protection and outcomes.
We’ll give you exposure to different roles to help you understand how we manage change in our business, and build your portfolio of technical, business and leadership skills.
Business analysis
You'll work with people from across our business to discover business problem or needs requiring a solution, and you’ll communicate these requirements to developers and third-parties to bring these solutions to life.
Project management
You’ll be responsible for driving business change and IT projects of varying scope and size, from initiation to delivery. You might be heading up a critical workstream for one of our major strategic programmes, or have total ownership of a smaller project.
Architecture
Our architecture team provide us with the foundations on which we can build new capability and excel in the marketplace. Your work in the team could include shaping our strategy and target operating models across the enterprise, or designing and implementing innovative and cost-effective solutions against our IT landscape.
Service management
You’ll be at the sharp end of Zurich’s IT operational support, helping the launch of new products and services, and managing the relationship between one of our UK business units and our suppliers - to ensure our customers get the best possible experience. No two days will ever be the same, and it’s also a great opportunity to increase your exposure across the Zurich business.
What else can I look forward to?
You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects. After just a few years, some of our change and technology management graduates are now managing projects with a £1m budget.
You might be working with colleagues from across the world on initiatives which affect our business globally. You could develop a career as a programme manager, or become a senior business analyst or architect with responsibility for shaping our future use of technology. There are no limits to what you can achieve with the right capability and motivation.
Where will I be based?
Our project teams mainly work out of Swindon or Whiteley, so you’ll have rotations in each of these locations. We also offer flexible working, which you can discuss with your manager.
What support will I get?
You’ll have an extensive network of support, including:
- Our buddy scheme – this pairs you with an existing graduate who will be available for frequent catch-ups and act as a sounding board for any questions you may have
- A personal development manager – who will identify your development needs and work with you to strengthen these throughout your time on the scheme
- Your line manager (day-to-day task manager)
- A programme representative – who manages the scheme and is responsible for your rotations during your time on the scheme.
