Our employee benefits

Our flexible working policy
All new vacancies at Zurich are available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis because we know the best person for the job isn’t always available full-time.
Employee consultation
We recognise both Unite (for 550+ engineer surveyors) and Community trade unions (for the rest of our 4,000+ UK employees).
We have joint consultation groups for both populations, which bring together representatives from each union with employees and senior leaders. The national partnership group (for engineer surveyors), chaired by the head of engineering, and the UK employee consultation board (for the rest of the UK), chaired by an executive committee member, have a high profile and significant level of influence.
In 2018, we supplemented the formal consultation bodies with organisational health groups, which engage employees at a local level on all employee matters, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, environment and culture.
