Our change and technology management internship programme
Our 10-week change and technology management internship programme will give you plenty of opportunities to build career-enhancing skills and enable you to make an informed decision about a future career with Zurich.
You’ll experience a fast-moving, competitive and business-focused environment. If you’re keen to understand more about our large business, IT transformation programmes, change management skills and the technical and analytical skills needed to implement critical business decisions, then this programme is ideal for you.
What will I need to apply?
You must have the indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must also be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study at university.
You’ll also need the following:
- Have a predicted minimum 2:1 degree
- At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
- A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What skills will I need?
The ability to grasp complex concepts in a business environment is a must. You will also need fantastic team-working, communication, organisation and influencing skills, together with real enthusiasm and drive. While an interest in technology is desirable, you don’t need to be studying for an IT-related degree.
What will I be doing?
We’ll give you exposure to our teams in business analysis, project management or architecture to help you understand how we manage change in our business, and allow you to start building your portfolio of technical and business skills.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and learn more about different areas of our business. We’ve put together an intern development programme for the duration of your internship. You can expect to take part in skills-based sessions and business-wide project groups to accelerate your learning and development.

Where will I be based?
Depending on which team you join, you will be working in either our Fareham or Swindon offices. We also offer flexible working, which you can discuss with your manager.
