Our four application stages

1

Online application

The first step involves an online application form, including some eligibility questions to help us ensure you meet the requirements of the programme.

2

Online assessment

Our strengths-based online assessment explores behaviours and working with numbers. It will give you a realistic insight into what it’s like to work for Zurich and introduce you to our culture. The assessment involves fictitious scenarios that relate to our work, giving you a better understanding of the positive impact you can have as a graduate. This stage will also help you to learn more about the work you’ll be doing if you join our scheme.

3

Job simulation and video interview stage

If you’ve been successful in the previous step, you may be invited to the next application stage: our job simulation and video interview. This strengths-based online assessment is a realistic digital job simulation that will give you a great opportunity to let us learn more about you as an individual. You’ll be introduced to a fictitious project, representative of the work we do, and will be given a series of scenarios. You’ll be asked to imagine you are working in the role you’ve applied for and will be asked to complete different types of assessments that include video and written responses.

If you’d like to get an idea of what is involved and start preparing, you can visit the Cappfinity Preparation Hub for guidance on how to prepare for an assessment and to complete some practice assessments.

4

Final assessment

Finally, you may be invited to an online or in-person final assessment and interview. Prepare by revisiting the details of the programme you have applied for and researching our company, products and services. This final stage is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Zurich and meet various representatives from the business.

Can I use AI in my application?

At Zurich, we’re committed to creating a brighter future - together. That’s why authenticity, integrity, and genuine engagement are at the heart of our recruitment process. While we recognise the evolving role of AI, we ask that you share your own thoughts and experiences thought our assessment process. Applications that use AI-generated responses will not be considered.

We want to get to know the real you - your unique experiences, strengths, and aspirations. The assessment process is your chance to show us how you connect with our values of optimism, caring, reliability, results orientation, togetherness, and forward-thinking, and how you’ll contribute to our purpose.

Our goal is to find candidates who truly reflect Zurich’s values and culture. We encourage you to respond authentically and independently, so your individuality and potential can shine through.
