Audit

Being part of the audit team at Zurich means belonging to a community of more than 200 internal auditors from 33 different nationalities, who share a common purpose: to keep Zurich safe.

Together, we combine our unique skills and capabilities to help spot danger for our company. You’ll be part of a team that’s always looking to learn, develop and improve. We’ll support you to achieve an internal audit qualification (if you don’t already have one). If you’re curious, analytical and want to make an impact, audit could be the team for you.

Legal

Our in-house legal advisers provide trusted, independent advice to minimise legal, regulatory and governance risks. We help Zurich to achieve strategic and commercial goals while following relevant laws and regulations. Our legal group is led centrally, with global, regional and local teams.

Everything we do is underpinned by our dedication to integrity, excellence and our desire to add real value for our customers. Our goal is to be the best provider of in-house legal, regulatory and governance services in the insurance industry.

Risk

Risk’s mission is to create and protect value for our business, customers and employees. We do this by creating a culture of agile and disciplined risk-taking, where the trade-offs between risk and reward are clearly understood.

Spanning the whole of our UK business, risk helps ensure strong links between risk-taking, business strategy and business planning. We also ensure robust risk management frameworks are in place. If you join our team, you’ll play a valuable role in helping our people to perform at their best and make a difference to those around them.

We work in an agile way/where roles and responsibilities evolve. This allows our people to experience new, interesting and varied work.

Compliance

Our UK compliance team are responsible for assuring senior management that Zurich UK complies with Group policies and regulatory requirements for compliance risk topics.

We do this by conducting assurance activities across all areas of the business, reporting our conclusions and findings to the business, recommending remedial actions to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks, and ensuring good outcomes for our customers.

We work closely with risk and Group-wide internal audit teams, to deliver a proportionate, joined-up assurance model that gives senior management a clearer understanding of regulatory risk, and which influences them to take appropriate action where necessary.

The team covers the following areas: governance and operations, consultancy, financial crime, data protection, customer outcomes/conduct risk, assurance, training, and financial promotions.
