Our human resources team, known as the People Team, enable our people to do their best work, live their best lives and fulfil our commitments to Zurich's stakeholders.

Our HR apprenticeship programmes

We have a variety of opportunities for HR apprentices within our People Team.

For example, you could be:

• Finding and recruiting people as part of our talent acquisition team
• Supporting different areas of our business, alongside our people partners, to understand what skills and talents they need and to help shape their organisational model
• Supporting our culture of inclusivity and diversity alongside our D&I team
• Working in our people hub and answering our people's questions about working at Zurich
• Reviewing our rewards, such as pay and employee benefits, within our rewards team
• Supporting the development of our future talent and upskilling our people, with our talent and learning and development teams
• Finding more effective ways of using our systems and tools or developing the knowledge and insight our business depends on, through our insights and technology team
• Ensuring we remain compliant with employment rules and requirements, with our governance and employee relations teams.

HR apprenticeships with our People Team can be in any of these areas, or you might find a pathway that allows you to rotate through different areas. Please check our adverts to see what's available.

How long will my HR apprenticeship last?

Your apprenticeship will last between 24-30 months. Once complete, you’ll remain a permanent member of the team, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to put your new qualification into action.

What will I need to apply?

The full entry requirements for our apprenticeships are shown in our job adverts. We ask all candidates to have Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE C/4 and above).

Beyond these entry requirements, you just need a passion and interest in this area and to be able to demonstrate your strengths as part of the application process.

Where will I be based?

Our People Team apprentices are typically based in (or within commutable distance of) various offices within the UK including Swindon and Fareham.
