What does a data analytics graduate scheme involve?

On our data and analytics graduate programme, you'll learn how to use the most advanced data and analytics technologies to provide the right solution for our customers, colleagues and stakeholders. You'll work alongside some of the greatest minds in the data and analytics industry, from our data engineers and data architects to our expert data scientists.

What skills will I need?

We are looking for people who are numerical, intellectually curious and can work independently and as part of a team. Most importantly we are looking for positive people who are keen to learn and develop and deliver excellent results for our customers.

What will I be doing?

No two days will be the same. You'll use data and the latest technologies to help solve business challenges and proactively look at future business opportunities. You'll be working closely with stakeholders at all levels across our business to deliver value for them, as well as for our customers and partners.

The programme lasts for three years and includes a series of rotations within our Chief Data Office. During this time, you'll receive guidance from industry experts in data science, data engineering, and business intelligence. You'll also have the option to complete a final business rotation to cement what you’ve learnt on the programme and to support colleagues in our business to use data effectively.

The programme will help you develop foundational skills across data and analytics; from analysing data and using storytelling to presenting insights back to our business, through to using statistical modelling techniques and developing artificial intelligence applications.

What else can I look forward to?

We’re passionate about your ongoing development and you’ll be learning from extremely talented and knowledgeable colleagues across your different rotations. You'll also receive a combination of in-house and external professional training throughout your graduate programme.

As a member of our Zurich UK Graduate community, you’ll also develop important business skills and will grow a network of colleagues across our business.

Where will I be based?

You can choose to work from our Whiteley, Swindon, or London offices, depending on your preference. We also offer hybrid working from your first day with us, and you can talk about this with your manager when you start.
