Develop skills across a wide range of areas while working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship qualification.

Digital and technology solutions degree apprenticeship

If you're completing a digital and technology solutions degree apprenticeship, you’ll work towards a BSc (Hons) digital and technology solutions degree. You’ll also achieve a Level 6 apprenticeship qualification.

Alongside your day-to-day role you'll:

  • Develop IT project management skills
  • Enhance your understanding of the fundamentals of data and information technology systems
  • Build your knowledge of computer systems and network fundamentals
  • Spend time in different teams within our operations team

During three years of study, you'll also build your knowledge and insight into various areas, including:

  • Web design and programming (PHP)
  • Dynamic and data-driven systems (MySQL, Access)
  • Enhancing web user experience
  • Business operations and process analysis and design
  • Development programming language
  • Cyber security fundamentals
  • Developing an IT strategy
  • Enterprise infrastructure design and architectures

How long will my apprenticeship last?

Typically either 3 or 4 years. Once you complete your apprenticeship, you'll continue to be a permanent member of the team and will have plenty of opportunities to put your new qualification into action.

What do I need to apply?

You can find the full entry requirements for our apprenticeships in our job adverts.

For the digital and technology solutions degree apprenticeship, you will need:

  • At least 3 A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • At least 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent)

Please make sure you have the right to live and work in the UK before applying, as we are unable to provide sponsorship. You must have lived in the UK for at least three consecutive years when you apply.

Where will I be based?

Our digital and technology solutions degree apprentices are typically based (or within commutable distance of) various offices within the UK including Swindon and Fareham.

You will study either at the University of Gloucestershire if you are Swindon-based, or the University of Chichester if you are Fareham-based. In some scenarios we may offer a virtual delivery with our digital delivery-focused training providers.
