Continuous improvement and automation apprenticeships

With the world of business changing more dynamically and rapidly than ever, it's an exciting time to be a continuous improvement and automation apprentice. Help identify challenges and lead the delivery of change across our organisational functions and processes.

As part of our continuous improvement and automation apprenticeship programme, you'll typically complete the improvement technician apprenticeship, which will develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours in the following areas:

  • Understanding different roles and responsibilities in a change environment
  • Understanding different sources of self-development How to develop and form teams, including decision-making techniques such as consensus, authority and majority
  • Developing reporting templates, message mapping and building cases for change
  • The fundamentals of change management, including stakeholder identification, analysis and management, the change curve, resistance characteristics, change sponsorship and creating a compelling point of view
  • The fundamentals of data analysis, such as statistical analysis, spreadsheets and pivot tables.

How long will my apprenticeship last?

Typically 18 months. Once you complete your apprenticeship, you'll remain a permanent team member. In most scenarios, you will study remotely through our digital delivery-focused training providers.

What do I need to apply?

You can find the full entry requirements for our apprenticeships in our job adverts. To apply for our apprenticeships, you need a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4, including Maths and English.

Please ensure you have the right to reside and work in the UK before you apply as we are unable to provide sponsorship. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years at the time of application.

Outside of these requirements, you'll need a passion for and interest in this area and to be able to demonstrate your strengths as part of the application process.

Where will I be based?

Our apprentices are typically based in (or within commutable distance of) various offices within the UK.
