Planet sustainability
As a global insurer, we touch more areas of life and business than most organisations, and can play a unique and profound role in shaping a brighter future for our planet.
Climate transition plan: our transition for a more sustainable future
The world is transforming at an unprecedented pace. At Zurich we believe we can have a positive impact in our role as insurer, investor, employer and in society. We have the knowledge, capabilities and spirit to make a difference.
We balance present and future needs of our business with the aim to create long-term sustainable value. We help weave a safety net for individuals, corporate customers and society. This change begins with us: doing the right thing by our planet, our customers and our employees.
Our first Climate Transition Plan details our targets and actions in the UK and how we continue to work with the wider Zurich Group to have the greatest impact in our journey to net zero. The need for action is increasingly urgent and we’re building on our existing achievements by focusing our sustainability priorities where we can make a difference.

Global Climate Commitment
We recognise that climate change is a global challenge, which is why the Zurich Insurance Group is committed to reach net-zero by 2050.

Trees for the future
Zurich UK has partnered with Trees for the Future. With our partnership, we are proud to be helping to fund Trees for the Future’s planting and restoration projects in Africa.

Protecting Britain’s seabeds
