Inclusion Communities
Accessibility and Inclusion Network (AIN)
AIN aim to build a high-performing, inclusive culture, where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves and has equal access to opportunities, experiences and career progression, regardless of any additional requirements, disability, neurodivergence or health conditions they may have.
AIN’s mission is to: help Zurich UK to be recognised as an inclusive organisation internally and externally; remove any barriers that hinder this; and promote equal opportunities for all.
Cultural Awareness Network (CAN)
CAN is a group of Zurich employees dedicated to advocating for cultural awareness. Our future is bright because our voices are diverse, our behaviours are inclusive, our actions drive equity, and our people feel a sense of belonging.
Our mission is to foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by raising cultural awareness among our employees, communities, and customers. We are committed to enhancing cultural awareness across the organisation, with a focus on heritage/race, ethnicity, culture, faith/religion, and language.
Join us in our journey to create a more inclusive and equitable world.
Employees Driving Gender Equity (EDGE)
EDGE is our largest network with over 1100 members in the UK. EDGE’s mission is to create a level playing field and help women thrive in their career at Zurich. EDGE offers a variety of activities from coaching webinars, career conversations and our Global LEAP development programme. EDGE also lobbies for positive action to encourage and support individuals to flourish and grow, both in themselves and in their career at Zurich.
Social Mobility Ambassadors (SMA)
The Social Mobility Ambassadors network champions socio-economic inclusion across Zurich UK. We work to raise awareness, remove barriers to opportunity, and create an environment where people can thrive based on their skills, potential and contribution, regardless of background.
Through education, community engagement, and advocacy, we collaborate with colleagues, leaders and external partners to drive meaningful change, amplify diverse experiences, and promote fair access to recruitment, development, and progression. Together, we support Zurich's commitment to building a more inclusive workplace where everyone can belong, grow and succeed.
Together For Mental Health
Our commitment is to create a culture where every employee feels valued, supported, and understood. We promote awareness and understanding of mental health through education, advocacy, and open dialogue, recognising the important connection between mental and physical wellbeing. We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental environment where employees feel comfortable seeking support when they need it most.
Our trained Mental Health First Aiders play an important role in providing confidential, practical, and compassionate support to colleagues. They offer an empathetic first point of contact, help individuals access appropriate resources, and signpost specialist support services where needed. Through these efforts, we aim to increase understanding of mental health, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations that help create a healthier and more supportive workplace for everyone.
Zurich Pride UK
At Zurich Pride UK, we’re dedicated to making Zurich a welcoming, safe, and truly inclusive place where LGBTQ+ colleagues and customers can be themselves. We champion LGBTQ+ inclusion across our products and services, offer support and advice to colleagues, raise awareness through internal events, ensure our policies are representative, and advocate for an inclusive future for our organisation.
We’re extremely proud to have again achieved Stonewall’s Proud Employers accreditation, earning the highly coveted Leader status for our LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts. This recognises Zurich as setting the standard for creating a safe, inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
And we’re not stopping here. We are continuously working to ensure that Zurich UK is a place where all colleagues and customers feel safe, seen and valued – regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
