If you’ve recently changed your name and want us to update our policy records, we’ve got a range of ways you can let us know, designed to fit you.

If you’re notifying us online, or over the phone, we’ll use electronic checks to validate your change of name.

Just for information, the electronic 3rd party data sources we check can sometimes take a little while to fully update so you may wish to allow at least a month between changing your name and notifying us, though if you would still like us to try and validate your change of name electronically sooner than this, do please complete our online form or give us a call.

Alternatively, you can complete our downloadable change of name form and send this to us, providing evidence to support your request. We’ve explained exactly what’s needed in the section below entitled 'post or email'.

It’s quick and easy to let us know you’ve changed your name by completing our simple form.

Subject to your agreement, we'll conduct electronic checks using third parties to verify your details. This means there's usually no need for additional information.

As with our online form, we’ll validate your request using electronic checks with you over the phone wherever possible.

We may record or monitor calls for training and quality purposes.

Post or Email

If you don’t want us to conduct electronic checks to verify your change of name request, you can print and complete the change of name request form and return it to us by post with certified copies of the evidence required.
