Zurich Engineering offer a suite of training opportunities. Our training programmes have been developed to meet the requirements of our customers, by delivering high quality guidance and support relating to the Engineering Inspection industry. Using our extensive experience and expertise, we can help you to meet your compliance related challenges.

What does the Zurich Engineering training service include?

Our team of engineering specialists are able to deliver a range of training courses, from off the shelf courses to customised training programmes to suit any particular need. Through our training programmes, our trainers are able to share their experience and in-depth technical knowledge. We provide supporting notes and literature. In addition we can measure the effectiveness of the training to ensure customers are achieving the results they want. Some of the areas where we can assist include:

• Lift awareness on the legal duties of the persons responsible for the lift
• Understanding of PUWER and LOLER for lifts and lifting equipment
• Understanding of PSSR requirements
• Understanding of the pressure equipment directive
• Introduction to welding approvals to BS EN ISO standards
• Introduction to ASME BPVC IX
• Introduction to visual inspection of welds
• Introduction to writing a weld procedure specification
• Power press one day on site overview with practical demonstrations
