Cyber insurance - endorsements
We aim to tailor coverage to customers' individual needs. This means we will look to broaden, not restrict cover, where possible in order to ensure those needs are met. Here are just some of the endorsements we can offer.
AI enhancements
Extends cover to incidents involving artificial intelligence systems, including cyber attacks, unauthorised access and content-related liabilities, on the same basis as other technology.
Cryptojacking
Covers additional electricity costs when hackers secretly use the insured’s systems to mine cryptocurrency.
Construction
Extends construction cover to include building information modelling (BIM), drone-related privacy risks, extra operating costs and tender preparation costs following a covered cyber event.
Non-IT DBI
Clarifies which third‑party service providers fall within the scope of dependent business interruption (DBI) cover.
Cyber crime
Adds cover for financial losses resulting from cyber fraud, impersonation scams and social engineering, including fraudulent fund transfers caused by digital attacks or deceptive instructions.
Reputational damage
Covers loss of income resulting from negative media coverage following a covered cyber or privacy incident.
