Motor Insurance
- Full business use as standard. Fully comprehensive driving of other cars, for the policyholder and their spouse/partner named on the certificate of motor insurance
- Optional cover for any driver
- Includes cover for misfuelling
- Enhanced vehicle replacement cover, up to 150% of the agreed value
- RAC breakdown cover
- Up to £20 million for third-party property damage
- Up to £2,500 for personal property in or on the vehicle
- Up to £15,000 for luggage trailers

What are your minimum acceptance levels for new business?
For new home insurance business, we require a minimum contents sum insured of £150,000. There is no minimum value applicable to buildings.
For new motor insurance business, we require a minimum sum insured of £50,000 for a single vehicle. For a multi-vehicle quotation, there should be a lead vehicle with a minimum value of £35,000.
For both of the above scenarios, the minimum requirements may be waived where we already hold part of the risk or are considering a home and motor quote where minimum criteria is met for either home or motor.
What are the minimum premiums for new business?
Our minimum household premium is £2,500 including Insurance Premium Tax. Our minimum motor premium is £1,500 including Insurance Premium Tax.
For both of the above scenarios, the minimum requirements may be waived where we already hold part of the risk or are considering a home and motor quote where minimum criteria is met for either home or motor.
Do your policies automatically renew?
We will contact you regarding your client’s renewal around 30 days prior to the renewal date. If you have received a renewal invitation from us, we will automatically renew your client's home and motor policies in order to provide continuous cover.
What are the single article limits for fine art and jewellery?
The single article limit is £25,000 for jewellery and £50,000 for fine art.
Can you provide cover for listed properties?
Yes, we are able to consider cover for listed properties.
Can you provide cover for properties in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man?
Yes, we are able to consider cover for properties located on the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Can you provide cover for overseas properties?
We can consider cover for properties in France, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Portugal where we hold the client’s main UK home.
Is travel cover included automatically?
Annual travel cover only applies if shown on your client’s statement of insurance. Annual travel is included automatically when contents cover is provided.
Can travel cover be removed?
Travel cover is included within the policy where contents cover is applicable and cannot be removed. Please refer to the policy wording for full details of cover provided and travel exclusions.
Does my client need to declare pre-existing medical conditions for travel cover?
A medical screening is not required. Claims in connection with a known medical condition will be excluded unless it is normally stable and under control. Please refer to the policy wording for full details of cover provided and travel exclusions.
Is there interest on direct debit payments?
No, our direct debit payments are interest-free and can be paid over monthly instalments.
Do you require a direct debit mandate?
No, we no longer require a mandate. If a client requests to pay by direct debit, please provide the account name, number, and sort code along with a preferred collection date.
