About our Commercial Crime product
Our Commercial Crime product provides cover for a wide range of illegal activity by both employees and external actors.
Core and optional covers
- Employee dishonesty (core/compulsory)
- Third-party computer fraud (optional)
- Forgery (optional)
Cover highlights
- Employee dishonesty covers business assets against employee fraud and dishonesty, regardless of whether the employee is acting alone or in collusion with others
- There is no requirement to identify employees, provided there is reasonable evidence the fraud or dishonesty was caused by an employee
- Provides cover for all employees, including any individual under a work experience or similar scheme, as well as temporary agency staff and those hired from another employer
- Can also provide cover for: losses from any employee pension or benefit fund set up by the insured; investigation costs to establish the extent of any covered loss; the costs of renting temporary replacement equipment and temporary premises; the costs of additional external workforce following a loss
Available policy wordings
- Any one claim - Limit of indemnity as stated in the policy schedule will be the maximum liability payable for each single covered loss
- Aggregate - We will not pay more than the limit of indemnity in respect of any one loss discovered in any one period of insurance, nor more than the aggregate limit of indemnity
