Number 1 Software House Insurer for four consecutive years
Zurich has been named the Number 1 Software House Insurer for the fourth year running in the Insurance Times eTrading Survey, while also maintaining 5-star ratings for both software house trading and Zurich Online. This is the fifth year in a row that Zurich have received a 5 star rating for software house trading experience.
The annual survey, now a key benchmark for the industry, captures feedback from hundreds of UK brokers, assessing insurers across areas such as product range, support, usability, quotability and ease of trading. This latest recognition reflects our continued focus on delivering a simple, fast and flexible eTrading experience for brokers.
Nikki Lidster, Head of SME Trading, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to be named Number 1 for the fourth year running. It’s a testament to the hard work of our teams and the strength of our partnerships with brokers. Their feedback is vital in helping us continually improve how we trade.”
Feedback remains central to our approach. In 2025 alone, the business received more than 59,000 responses through its TNPS surveys, achieving a score of +81 – which continues to increase year on year. These insights continue to directly shape enhancements across Zurich’s SME proposition.
Recent developments include updates to core products, expanded underwriting appetite and ongoing improvements to trading journeys across Acturis Open Market, Zurich Online and Bravo Digital Trader. We continue to invest in both digital capability and expert support, with real underwriters available when needed and around over 66% of live chats currently answered within 30 seconds, helping brokers trade quickly and confidently.
Beyond eTrading, broker feedback is also having an impact on local communities. Through our partnership with Magic Breakfast, a donation is made for every survey completed – with more than 172,000 breakfasts provided to children across the UK so far.
Looking ahead, Zurich are committed to continuous improvement - working closely with brokers to make eTrading even more seamless, efficient and responsive.
