Lidster has been with the business for nearly 20 years. She took up the post earlier this year having previously held jobs including four years as SME operations manager. The news came as Zurich flagged that blending mid-market and SME to create a seamless experience for brokers “is a key priority for us moving forwards”.
Integral
David Nichols, head of retail at Zurich UK said: “Nikki has played an integral role in leading the growth and development of the SME business in the past 12 months.
“During this time, we have seen our TNPS scores soar to +76 year to date, this is based on feedback from 32,000 brokers, alongside spearheading the introduction of our relationship with the Magic Breakfast. “She is highly respected in the market and the perfect choice to drive this business to the next level in the coming years.”
He added: “Blending mid-market and SME to create a seamless experience for our broker partners is a key priority for us moving forwards. These two propositions have been segmented by the industry for quite some time, this will create a much stronger solution for everyone.”
Forefront
Lidster said: “Customer satisfaction for our SME business has really improved in the last 12 months, this is always forefront of our ambitions and underpins the growth we’re seeing.
“Blending the SME proposition with mid-market will ensure a seamless transition for our broker community so it’s great to take the reins at such an exciting time.”
