Support and guidance in a difficult time - public sector motor claims guidance
This guidance page is dedicated to helping you understand what to expect when making a motor insurance claim on behalf of your organisation. It provides the information and support you'll need as we endeavour to make your claims experience as collaborative, personal, clear and effortless as possible.
A helping hand when dealing with a claim
During your claim we may ask you for some or all of the following:
- your policy number
- details of what happened, where it happened and who was involved
- details of any damage (including photos)
- details of any emergency services involved or Crime Reference number (where applicable)
- any supporting documentation you have available.
All we need are 4 things and we will pay your claim the same day you provide us with an estimate or invoice:
- your details - name, policy number, vehicle details
- incident details
- who was involved, what happened, any injuries and who was involved
- estimate or invoice for your repairs, below £2,500.
This applies for all Fault, Non-Fault and Accidental Damage claims, and excludes claims for Total Loss, Fire and Theft.
