The Zurich General Insurance Rehabilitation Team is an in-house group of qualified nurses and allied health professionals who excel in physical, mental, and vocational rehabilitation. Our team assesses and supports employees with workplace injuries, facilitating their recovery and prompt return to work.
Our rehabilitation services assist your clients in managing and reducing the costs associated with workplace injuries and accidents by ensuring timely and appropriate treatment for their employees.
We employ an innovative approach to acute injury management, proactively addressing injuries to prevent chronic issues and long-term absences, helping employees return to work sooner. Our treatments encompass physiotherapy, hand therapy, psychological therapy, diagnostic imaging, and surgical solutions, all aimed at managing the cost of risk for your clients.
Each team member is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, providing support to employees with primary or secondary mental health issues arising from workplace incidents.
We offer a comprehensive biopsychosocial triage, utilising physical and psychometric measurements to establish a rehabilitation baseline and track improvements.
A dedicated Rehabilitation Case Manager supports the impacted employee throughout their recovery, offering advice, guidance, and monitoring progress. They also keep the employer informed about the employee's progress, expected return to work, and when to engage occupational health services.
The Zurich General Insurance Rehabilitation Team provides both pre- and post-claim solutions, integrating traditional insurance and risk management to meet the needs of customers and claims teams. Our pre-claim rehabilitation services are available irrespective of liability, ensuring your clients receive comprehensive support.
Please note that we are unable to offer our rehabilitation proposition in the Republic of Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man due to differing healthcare arrangements in these locations.
