About our SME Contractors’ Combined product
Our Contractors’ Combined product combines 15 key business insurance covers into one convenient policy.
Our Zurich Online platform allows you to access Contractors’ ‘all-risks’ covers: Contract Works, Owned Plant, Hired in Plant and Employees’ Personal Tools cover.
Our Legal Expenses cover is provided by ARAG a specialist provider of legal protection insurance.
Cover highlights
- All our property covers are average-free
- Material damage cover is on an “all-risks basis” including subsidence
- Material damage cover includes a public authorities clause, which includes the additional cost of reinstatement of undamaged portions of a property to comply with legislation
- Material damage cover also includes a brand protection clause, for reasonable costs incurred in mitigating reputation damage arising from an insured event
- Public and products liability cover has a choice of limits (£5 million standard)
- Our public liability cover includes a munitions of war extension to protect you against liability arising from unearthing historic weapons of war
- Our JCT clause 21.2.1/6.5.1 gives a 30 day limited cover for third party property damage
- Our public liability cover also gives a Financial Loss extension which protects you for sums which you become liable for in tort
- We provide a Data Protection extension which covers liability arising under the Data Protection Act 2018
- Our Employers’ liability cover includes a wide definition of employees
- Business interruption cover can be tailored to your clients’ needs, with a choice of covers and indemnity periods
