About our SME Commercial Combined product
Our Commercial Combined product combines key business insurance covers into one convenient policy, with up to 15 covers available.
Cover highlights
- All our property covers are average-free
- Material damage cover is on an “all-risks basis” including subsidence
- Material damage cover includes a public authorities clause, which includes the additional cost of reinstatement of undamaged portions of a property to comply with legislation
- Material damage cover also includes a brand protection clause, for reasonable costs incurred in mitigating reputation damage arising from an insured event
- Business interruption cover can be tailored to your clients’ needs. Covers include loss of gross revenue, gross profit, gross fees, and rent receivable, and we provide a free 33.3% uplift on the estimated sum insured figures to allow for the normal fluctuations of the business
- Your clients may also opt for increased cost of working cover, which is most suitable for businesses without fixed premises (particularly office risks)
- Your clients can choose from indemnity periods ranging from 12 to 48 months, to suit the size, usage and construction of their building
- We can cover up to £10 million material damage/business interruption sum insured at each premises
- Public and products liability cover has a choice of limits and includes a data protection extension and product recall cover
- Employers’ liability cover includes a wide definition of employees and cover for public relations expenses

What types of businesses do we cover?
Our appetite includes UK-based businesses that aren’t suitable for our packaged products and have up to 10 locations and £5 million turnover.
This includes the following industries:
- Manufacturing
- Wholesale and retail
- Offices and business administration
- Warehousing
- Sports, leisure and entertainment
- Construction and contracting risks across 2,000 trades
