Emotional support

We'll connect you with professional counsellors for telephone, video, or face-to-face short-term counselling sessions.

AWARE programme

A programme focused on mindfulness-based stress reduction and includes six sessions speaking to a specialist on the phone.

Life coaching

You can get up to six life coaching sessions over the phone with a professional coach.

Online cognitive behavioural therapy course

This self-directed program offers computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help you address various mental health concerns.

Rehabilitation

This support is available as part of employers’ liability and motor insurance. Zurich Rehabilitation is an in-house team of qualified nurses and allied health professionals who act as Rehabilitation Case Managers (RCM) to immediately assist recovery and return to work.

Case study: Always putting people first

The claim

A 55-year-old suffered life-altering injuries when he was crushed between two vehicles, which resulted in an above the knee amputation.

Zurich’s response

Having seen the impact delay and ill-fitting prosthetics can have, we're proud to have done something about it. As we provide pre-funding to amputees, the claimant was referred to our private prosthetics suppliers straight away. Within six weeks they had a fully-funded rehabilitation package, including trialling prosthetic limbs, physiotherapy and aids and equipment to assist.

By understanding future costs for limb replacement, maintenance and ongoing therapy, we were able to make the claimant an early offer of settlement, within 15 months of the accident, which was accepted.
