Zurich makes it onto list of UK’s best places to work

Zurich UK has been awarded a Glassdoor Employers Choice award, recognising it as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work in 2022. Zurich is the only insurer that features on the top 50 list.
Now in its 14th year, the Employees’ Choice Award recognises employers that shine brightest according to those who know a company best – the employees. It’s based solely on the input of employees who choose to provide anonymous feedback about their job, work environment and employer on Glassdoor.
Common themes emerge from employee reviews, revealing what’s important to workers in 2022. High on the list is work-life balance and flexible working options. Earlier this week, the insurer announced that demand for part-time jobs at Zurich has almost doubled since the launch of its flexible working approach in 2019.
What’s the criteria?
To be awarded an Employees Choice award a minimum number of ratings are required across nine workplace attributes, including:
- overall company rating
- work-life balance
- career opportunities
- diversity and inclusion
- compensation and benefits
- culture and values
- senior management
- recommend to a friend, and
- six-month business outlook.
