Zurich is pleased to announce the launch of its intermediary portal for group life and group income protection cover for SME customers. This is now available to those with between three and 250 employees, broadening its target market for these valuable benefits.

Cover can be accessed via a new, user-friendly Zurich Access Portal that offers instant online quotes and an intuitive user experience. There is no need to re-enter information for alternative quote options and intermediaries can view, share and manage both their pipeline and portfolio of customers all in one place.

The application journey supports e-Signature enabled processes including proposal forms, trust documentation and direct debit mandates. Where needed, chasing of customers is automatic with intermediaries kept fully updated on all activity. Customer signatures can even be submitted via their mobile, enabling swift responses.

Commenting on the launch, Cindy Warden, Head of Zurich Corporate Risk said:

“We’re excited to launch our new SME portal for intermediaries. We’ve listened to what they’ve told us they expect from a portal and have built ours with this feedback in mind. It is easy to use and offers simple eligibility criteria and an intuitive user experience designed to help intermediaries process SME business quickly and efficiently.”

Customers who obtain cover via the portal will also benefit from comprehensive support services. These include an Employee Assistance Programme and access to counselling, return to work help and rehabilitation for those absent through illness. Members are also given virtual GPs and health and wellbeing assistance through a number of tools including the My Healthy Advantage and Thrive apps.

To mark the launch, Zurich will be planting seagrass around the coastline of the UK for every Group Income Protection and Group Life policy placed via the Zurich Access Portal for SME customers. In partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, Zurich customers will be supporting the largest seagrass recovery operation in England, to save vital seabed habitats.|
