Local community advisory service (LCAS)

What is the Local Community Advisory Service (LCAS)?

When you choose to insure your organisation with us, you’ll automatically benefit from our Local Community Advisory Service (LCAS). The service is free for Zurich local community customers, for example town, parish and community councils, charities and voluntary organisations.

We’ve used our extensive experience of working with the public and voluntary sector to ensure LCAS provides practical risk management help and guidance. The LCAS service can help you assess the risks that your organisation faces so that you can put processes in place to help protect your staff, service users, visitors, and contractors. It will help you identify risks and control measures to reduce risk of injuries, ill health and accidents occurring as a result of your activities and facilities.

You'll have access to:

  • An interactive guide containing all the tools you need to undertake assessments of operational risks.
  • A specialist health and safety advice line & email service (open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm).
  • Regular risk updates for your sector.
