Zurich wins Commercial Lines Insurer of the year

The 2023 British Insurance Awards, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night, showcased and honoured outstanding achievements across the insurance industry. The awards proved to be a momentous occasion for Zurich, taking home the award for Commercial Lines Insurer of the Year, as well as the Major Loss Award in collaboration with Clear Insurance Management Ltd, Crawford & Company and Harris Balcombe.
Commercial Lines Insurer of the Year

At Zurich, we pride ourselves on providing a first-class experience for our customers and brokers and understand the importance of strong, collaborative relationships. Our new broker proposition, Zurich Club Blue, has been created to enable a consistent approach to managing our broker relationships and provides tailored support aligning to brokers’ trading framework, demands and needs.
We have made improvements to make trading with us as easy as possible, with expert teams on hand to support brokers locally and respond quickly to business enquiries.
What’s more, we are committed to a sustainable future and our propositions have evolved to be more sustainable. From the introduction of EVs across our fleet propositions and our ‘repair not replace’ initiative, to our D&I agenda seeing us move up 74 places in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers List, we continue to work towards a brighter future.
Major Loss Award
Zurich Insurance were also awarded the Major Loss Award for their work as a result of a fire during the pandemic. Alongside brokers Clear Insurance Management Ltd, adjuster Crawford & Company and Harris Balcombe, we worked to ensure that each individual involved was re-homed as soon as possible.
The pandemic presented many hurdles, but this award is recognition of the Major Loss team’s collaboration and empathy during a difficult time.
