Here we look a little more into the different teams that make up our claims function, how they differ and how their focus is on helping you by delivering Zurich's claims commitment - our promise to make your claims experience personal, clear, collaborative and effortless.

The Claims Relationship Management Team (CRM) provide a link between our customers and the claims function. For any queries about the claims service or when a significant loss is experienced, the CRM team are there to provide those answers and reassurance.

How the Claims Relationship Management Team make a difference

Working collaboratively is so important when building strong relationships with our customers. We share insights on their claims portfolio to help them manage their risks and control their exposures for mutual benefit. Our customers know that we are there to support them in their time of need and the customer feedback we receive is testament to the closeness of the relationship we have with them.

Making it collaborative

Following recent storms a customer had some lab equipment damaged in the floods. Because of our speedy actions and working closely with the customer we were able to mitigate the loss and get the equipment they relied on for their income, back into use, as quickly as possible. Overall this reduced the exposure of the claim and most importantly allowed them to carry on with business as usual, as much as possible. 

Making it personal

Zurich have an unwavering focus on doing the right thing for the customer and this really permeates through every layer of the organisation, from senior management levels to our handlers. Doing the right thing, working day to day with our customers to make sure we are consistently delivering fantastic outcomes and working with them to support them and their businesses is why we're here.

There is no such thing as a common claim, every day is different for our CRM team, we see everything that our customers face and help them respond, there is never a dull moment!

Making it effortless

Being face to face with the customer enables us to have that direct access in order to promote and highlight the many changes that we, as a business, are going through and highlight the positives that technology is bringing to our organisations.
