A regional broker network enables the business to service every corner of the UK with local expertise
Today, Zurich UK opens its latest regional office in the UK to service the East Anglia area. The business now offers a specialist broker service across ten key regions. This is a growth area for the Zurich, with the Chelmsford office creating up to 11 jobs for specialist underwriters as the business grows.
The office will be housed in a ‘We Work’ space which gives the business more flexibility to scale and adapt according to the needs of employees in the coming years. The East Anglia team is already taking shape with the recruitment of Nick Barratt a Broker Relationship Manager. He has extensive experience in the East Anglia region, having spent over a decade with RSA as well as brands such as AXA and Aviva. An additional four underwriters with a spread of expertise will join the team in the coming weeks.

The regional broker network will continue to evolve to support Zurich’s ambitious growth plans in the coming years. This objective will be supported by sustained investment in people, proposition, and capabilities. Zurich already has bespoke regional broker offices in; Croydon, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast with over 500 employees across ten regions.
