Helen Pickford appointed Chair of PRA Practitioner Panel

HM Treasury has approved the appointment of Zurich's UK Chief Financial Officer, Helen Pickford as the new Chair of the PRA Practitioner Panel.
She has replaced Martin Gilbert (Chief Executive, Standard Life Aberdeen) as chair.
Victoria Stubbs (Chief Risk Officer, The Cambridge Building Society) will be the new Deputy Chair of the Panel, replacing Ashraf Piranie (Group Finance and Operations Director, West Bromwich Building Society). Both appointments took effect on Saturday 30 November 2019.
Speaking about her appointment, Helen Pickford said, "I am delighted to take up the role of Chair of the PRA Practitioner Panel. It’s an important forum for ensuring ongoing engagement between the industry and its regulator and it’s an honour to be nominated by my fellow panel members to take the lead going forward”.
