    Tulsi Naidu

    Tulsi Naidu

    Chief Executive, Zurich UK

    Tulsi became UK Chief Executive in November 2016 having joined Zurich as Head of Business Development for EMEA in September that year. She has over 20 years of financial services experience, most recently with Prudential where she held a number of executive positions in their UK and Europe business.

    Before joining Prudential, Tulsi worked for Credit Suisse First Boston Investment Banking in Singapore, ICICI in Mumbai, and began her career at Arthur Andersen. She is a graduate from Nizam College in Hyderabad, and completed her MBA at the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad.

    Vinicio C

    Vinicio Cellerini

    Head of Commercial, UK

    Vinicio, became Head of Commercial in the UK in January 2017, having been CEO of Zurich’s UK Global Corporate Insurance since 2012. He has held various roles in across the Zurich Insurance Group since 1986. These include underwriting and management roles across Europe and the US; including leading Zurich’s agencies in Switzerland. In 2004, he became CEO of Zurich’s Global Corporate business in Italy and in 2009 held the same role Switzerland. Prior to joining Zurich, Vinicio completed an apprenticeship with Mobiliar.


    Conor Brennan

    Director of Business Development, Zurich UK

    Conor became the business development director after a period as Head of GI Retail and CEO of the former UKGI unit since July 2016. He has been with Zurich since 2008, and his prior to this role led the General Insurance business in Ireland.



    Andrew J

    Andrew Jepp

    Managing Director, Zurich Municipal

    Andrew Jepp is Managing Director for Zurich Municipal. Andrew is a highly experienced risk and insurance practitioner with strong knowledge of the Public Sector having started his career at Municipal Mutual Insurance. Andrew’s career has covered all the major disciplines in Underwriting, Claims, Sales and Distribution before moving into a variety of managerial roles. He is a regular commentator on risk issues impacting on Local Government and the wider Public Sector.

    Andrew is a chartered insurer and FCII qualified. He is a non-executive Director and Chairman of Sutton Housing Society, a Registered Social Landlord, Tennyson Insurance, an appointed representative wholly owned by Zurich and a trustee of Zurich Community Trust.

    Head of Retail Management 

    David was appointed Head of Retail Management, having previously held the positions of Life Distribution and Retail, UK Life. 

    David is responsible for co-ordinating the next generation product development across Life and Property & Casualty for retail customers and small to medium businesses.

    Steve became acting Head of HR in January 2018 after a lengthy Zurich career spanning over twenty years and covering a range of operational, finance, HR leadership and communications roles. 



    Hayley Robinson - CUO

    Hayley Robinson

    Chief Underwriting Officer

    Hayley joined Zurich as Chief Underwriting Officer in 2018. She joined Zurich in 2011 where she held various roles leading our EMEA and global underwriting teams. She previously worked for IAG in Australia.

     


    Jim Sykes

    Jim Sykes

    Head of Life Manufacturing and CEO of Zurich Assurance Ltd, Sterling ISA Managers Limited and Zurich Investment Services (UK) Limited

    Jim was appointed Head of Life Manufacturing in January 2017 having previously served as Chief Operations Officer.

    Jim has worked in the Zurich Group since 1988 and will now be responsible for product development and management, post-sales customer service, oversight of outsource services and core life businesses such as underwriting policy.

    Edward Bridge

    General Counsel

    Ed joined Zurich in 2017, as General Counsel of Zurich Insurance UK. He leads a team of 50 lawyers, company secretaries and support staff, supporting both the life and general insurance sides of the UK business.

    Chief Claims Officer

    David became Chief Claims Officer in July 2017. Prior to this David served as Head of Operations and IT, responsible for IT, facilities management & property, procurement and supplier management, data, continuous improvement, information governance, business continuity and automation.

    UK Chief Compliance Officer

    Richard was appointed UK Chief Compliance Officer in January 2017 with responsibility for the compliance arrangements for all business lines in the UK, having served as Head of Compliance, Markets and Customer Insight for the life business since December 2012.

    Richard originally joined Zurich Group in 2005 where he was a member of the UK Life Strategy and Planning team subsequently holding roles in the Asia Pacific region before returning to Europe in 2011 and moving into the role of Head of Business Transformation, Global Life.

    Richard Pash joined Zurich in July 2016 as Director of UK Life Marketing – he became Head of UK Marketing in April 2017 and is responsible for transforming our marketing strategy, ensuring a customer-oriented approach, implementing best practice to enhance the level of service provided and enabling us to drive profitable growth.

     Sophie Timms

    Sophie Timms

    Head of UK Public Affairs, Media Relations and Corporate Responsibility

    Sophie has been Head of the Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility since 2004. She joined Zurich in 2003 from the Federation of Small Businesses. Sophie leads Zurich’s UK Corporate Responsibility programme and she is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Group, Vice Chair of the UK Women's Innovation Network and a member of the Zurich Community Trust Executive Committee.



     

     


    Peter Hamilton

    Head of Market Management

    With over 32 years in the insurance industry, Peter has an extensive knowledge of the sector with a strong emphasis on the protection market. With a background in Marketing, he has management responsibility for Zurich’s retail propositions, including retail protection and the Zurich Intermediary Platform. His areas of expertise include consumer and regulatory developments in the protection and broader financial services market



    Mark Peters

    Head of Retail Market Management

    Mark has over twenty five years’ experience in the industry, with a strong background in investment matters. At Zurich he is responsible for shaping and delivering UK Life's retail wealth propositions, including Zurich's Intermediary Platform and the Sterling Investment Bond. His areas of responsibility include proposition design and management, regulatory change and governance. His areas of expertise include investment propositions and platform design and delivery.

    Alistair Wilson

    Head of Platform Retail Strategy

    Alistair has a strong background in the platform market gained from 30 years in the industry. At Zurich he focuses on the continued evolution of Zurich’s Intermediary Platform and communicating Zurich’s vision to the intermediary market. His areas of expertise include extolling the benefits of platforms alongside their design and delivery.

    Head of Corporate Risk Market Management

    Nick has over 20 years' insurance experience, covering Corporate & Retail Protection and Healthcare. At Zurich he is responsible for proposition management and development. His areas of expertise include the Group Risk products/market and workplace issues, such as absence management, employee rehabilitation and the broader regulatory and legal environment.

    Gareth Jenkins

    Head of Product and In Force

    Gareth is a qualified actuary and heads up the In Force Propositions team which includes the support services for Retail and Corporate Propositions including Commercial Actuarial, Technical/Regulatory, MI & Governance. His focus is on managing the existing propositions across product lifecycles to ensure they continue to meet the needs of customers, distributors and shareholders and are maintained with respect to regulatory, technical and environmental market changes. Among his areas of expertise are pricing, proposition design, proposition management, process governance and regulatory change.

    Rose has almost twenty years in the industry, with a strong background in the wealth management and investment sectors. Her areas of expertise include consumer savings behaviour, asset management and gender issues. She chairs Zurich's UK Women’s Innovation Network.

    Anne has worked for Zurich for 20 years, holding a variety of roles primarily within the underwriting function and customer facing teams. Before taking up her current role as Head of Middle Market for UK commercial Anne was director of Underwriting for UK commercial Broker. Anne is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurer.

    Paul is Head of GI Retail SME in the UK and is responsible for leading Zurich’s provision of insurance and risk services to small businesses and is also leading Zurich’s new innovative digital offering for brokers in the commercial combined insurance space.

    Scott Clayton

    Scott Clayton

    Head of General Insurance Claims Investigation Unit

    During his 30 years with Zurich, Scott has handled claims across all lines of business and all distribution channels and, in a previous role, headed up the Chief Executive’s Complaints Team, managing the Company's relationship with the Financial Ombudsman Service. For the last 11 years, Scott has been responsible for managing the identification and investigation of all suspect claims across the General Business in the UK. He oversees Zurich’s 80 strong team of fraud handlers and investigators, is a member of the Management Board of the Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department and regularly assists with Insurance Fraud Bureau initiatives.
