What personal information will you collect?
When you register to use the Portal on this website, we will collect personal information about you including your name, company name, telephone number and email address. We will use your information to provide you with access to the Portal. You can use the Portal to manage users in your company name, produce quotes, complete applications and conduct webchat.
When you use the Portal to obtain a quote or contract of insurance, we will need to collect personal information about the employer and the members to be covered. The type of information includes:
- General personal information, such as names, gender, and date of birth.
- Occupation data such as job title, salary, and work location.
- Health and activities data such as health and family information, previous medical underwriting decisions, and any other relevant factors.
When providing information on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their permission to do so, and they are aware of how their personal data will be processed.
How long do you retain my personal information for?
We will retain your personal information for the following time period:
- 10 years since you last logged in to the Portal or from when the last quote or application was produced.
We will retain and process the client’s, and employee’s, personal information for the following time periods:
- 12 months from the date a quote or application was not taken up
- 10 years from a scheme going on risk.
Use of Webchat
We use a third-party provider, LivePerson, to supply and support our Webchat service.
If you use our Webchat service we’ll collect the contents of your chat session including your name, company name and email address as well as the personal data of any client you refer to in the chat. Zurich retain this information as described above and, under contract with us, LivePerson retains this data for us for 13 months.

We may have included links on our Portal and website to other sites that you may find useful. These websites will all have their own privacy policy which will differ from ours. What happens if I fail to provide my personal information to you?
If you do not provide us with the required personal information on the Portal, we will not be able to provide you with the Portal services you requested.

We suggest that you save a copy of this policy for your records. We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to keep it up to date or to comply with legal requirements, and any such amended policy will only apply from the time of amendment.
