Making a Group Income Protection claim or engaging our rehabilitation services
We've made it as easy as possible to make a claim.
We understand it's important to act quickly, so you can simply call us to notify us of claim or to explore how our rehabilitation services could help, which can even be before an employee is absent (presenteeism).
Our dedicated case managers support our customers and employees throughout the claims process. They will gather all the information we need over the phone, and we'll aim to contact the employee within 48 hours to start supporting them in any way we can.

Dedicated case manager
Each customer is assigned a dedicated and experienced case manager, who'll be their single point of contact for all of their claims.

Fast, digital claims
To notify us of a claim, just give us a call or send us an email and our dedicated case manager will gather all the information we need to process the claim.

Speedy claims
We aim to process all claims activity as quickly as possible, often within 48 hours.

eSignatures
We use eSignatures throughout the claims journey, significantly speeding up the claims process.
Rehabilitation and early intervention services
We encourage our customers to let us know when an employee is either at work, but struggling with their health, or is absent, not just when you're thinking about making a claim. The sooner we know about a situation, the sooner we can look for ways to help.
We can provide support for employers and employees, to help an employee return to work quickly and safely, or even prevent absence altogether.
How we pay Group Income Protection claims
Once we've admitted a claim, we pay the employer on a monthly basis. We regularly review each claim and continually look for ways we can help, including employee rehabilitation or return-to-work planning where appropriate.
