Life is full of setbacks, which can have a negative impact on our ability to work.
Our Group Income Protection cover makes sure your clients can offer essential support to their employees if illness or injury prevents them from working. It gives employees peace of mind and the support they need throughout their recovery and eventual return to work. At Zurich Corporate Risk, we offer more than just financial support.
Did you know our Group Income Protection customers have access to a wide range of additional support services? Whether they need help with managing stress, dealing with illness, or navigating workplace challenges, our services are designed to support your clients and their employees every step of the way.
Our award winning, in-house rehabilitation services provide essential health and wellbeing support from the start. Our team of medically qualified, experienced rehabilitation specialists, includes general nurses, mental health nurses, physiotherapists and cancer support nurses.
Our Precision CancerCare service, provided by Further, offers your clients, and their employees support and access to customised treatment plans, using the latest tumour profiling technology.
By understanding the genetic make-up of the cancer, Further can provide a customised treatment plan specific to the individual’s tumour molecular profile, which can potentially improve outcomes, significantly reduce negative side effects of treatment and help to improve their overall quality of life.
The service also delivers an expert clinical report which provides personalised guidance regarding cancer treatment options.

On risk process - Mercer Marsh Benefits Elect Group Income Protection
All we need to place a Mercer Marsh Benefits Elect GIP scheme on-risk is email instruction from you.
All Mercer Marsh Benefits Elect on-risks must be sent to zcrquotes@uk.zurich.com and copy in Darren Lee (darren.lee3@uk.zurich.com) and Christina Sanders (christina.sanders1@uk.zurich.com). Please ensure we receive the on risk instruction by 4pm the day before the cover start date.
As a minimum, this email needs to confirm the quote reference being accepted, on risk date and answers to any quotation caveats.
As part of a special arrangement for Mercer Marsh Benefits Elect we do not require an on-risk form.
Standard caveats
Mercer Marsh Benefits Elect have a one-time disclosure for standard caveats.
Therefore, if the information relating to the standard caveats is correct within one month of the quote request we wont request this information at on risk as long as the quote is still in the validity period.
Proposal and direct debit forms
We need a completed proposal form and direct debit instruction.
This can follow within 30 days of going on risk.
We can also use DocuSign for ease of signing, simply send the completed form to us, along with the name, job title and email address of the person signing and we’ll do the rest. The signatory must be a Companies House listed official.
Account data
Although not required at on risk stage, we will need to also know whether we should use the quote data for accounts or whether new data will be sent.
Finally, don’t forget to tell us the client contact details so we can send them all the information about our fantastic added value services.
