Expert cancer support when you need it most
If your employer has a Group Critical Illness policy with Zurich Corporate Risk, you may have access to our Cancer Support service, provided by Reframe.
Following a cancer diagnosis, this service offers timely, expert support at what could be a difficult time.
You will also have access to the Reframe Information Hub, which provides helpful information about cancer symptoms and risk factors, as well as guidance on making healthy lifestyle choices.
The Information Hub is available to insured members, regardless of whether they have cancer or not.
What does Reframe Cancer Support include?
If you’ve had a new cancer diagnosis, you can access support in as little as 24 hours after registering for the service. This includes:
- 28 hours of support from a dedicated support team over a two-year period. This includes a cancer nurse specialist and cancer support manager with in-depth knowledge of NHS processes and practices
- A personalised support plan
- Information on complex emotional, clinical and financial concerns, as well as practical support if you are feeling overwhelmed
- Guidance to help you better understand their options, address their concerns and help them access professional help to navigate the UK’s healthcare system
- Relevant information from cancer nurse specialists to help you make decisions about your care
- A secure online portal to contact the support team and access resources
Reframe Information Hub
The service also includes access to Reframe’s Information Hub, which can be used by anyone covered by a Group Critical Illness policy, regardless of whether they have cancer or not.
The Information Hub includes:
- Secure access to an interactive online and mobile health and wellbeing service
- Information on how to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices
- A wide range of cancer-focused health information and content
- Information on identifying cancer symptoms
- Information on how to access the Cancer Support service
Accessing the Cancer Support service from Reframe
You'll need to ask your employer for a unique code to access this service. Your employer will have been sent a welcome pack from Reframe, which will contain the unique code you need.
