Zurich launches Youth Against Carbon Conference

YAC Con was the first in what we hope will be an annual climate conference which aims to enable and empower the next generation of climate activists to better combat climate change. We aim to answer the question: What role should young people play in combatting the carbon crisis?
The conference took place on 13 October and was broadcast live on Instagram TV (IGTV). Social influencer and BBC TV presenter Maddie Moate hosted a debate with Mikaela Loach (22), an eco-campaigner and sustainable lifestyle blogger, Amy and Ella Meek (16 & 14) – founders of Kids Against Plastic and Mya-Rose – a prominent naturalist, passionate about birds and conservation and author of the Birdgirl blog.
