The Zurich Community Trust (UK) Limited is funded by an annual donation from the Zurich UK businesses and by generous donations from Zurich UK employees.  As a registered independent charity, grant giving is at the heart of what we do and remains our primary objective.

Since 1973, we have worked to be an intelligent and informed funder and always strive to establish true partnerships with the charities we support.  Our grant programmes address key social issues and work to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged people.  Our grant making covers a broad sweep of funding, from small charities and community organisations at grassroots level through to national charities who are 'household names'.

We also support Zurich's commitment to corporate responsibility with numerous other initiatives and by encouraging employees to dedicate both time and money.  We broker a broad range of volunteering opportunities, engaging over 40% of the Zurich UK workforce in sharing their skills with the community each year.    You can find out more below about the four key strands of our work.
