Good to know...

With investment comes risk. The value of an investment can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount invested. Investments should only be considered for medium to long term goals (five years or more).

The basics

You can invest in a range of funds to suit your attitude to risk and investment objectives.

It provides you with a flexible means of investing and accessing your money.

More about our funds

It may not be right for you if...

You don't want to invest for more than five years.

You don't want to take risks with your money - the value of your account can go down and you may get back less than you invest.

It may be right for you if...

You're looking for potentially higher investment returns than a cash ISA.

You want a tax efficient way of investing.

You're happy to invest in the funds available in the account and you're aware of and accept the risks associated with the funds.

You want to transfer in another ISA.

You can invest for at least five years.

Making the most of your ISA

Paying in the majority or all of your ISA allowance early in the tax year can really pay off.

Putting in the maximum amount of £20,000 at the start of the tax year means your money will be invested longer, giving you greater potential for growth.

If you haven't used all your ISA allowance for this year, it's not too late.
