How do I complain?

We want to give you the type of service you expect, but sometimes things go wrong. Most of the time we can put things right quickly and easily, so in the first place, please get in touch using the details below.

When you get in touch, please provide as many details about your complaint as possible including:

  • Your personal details
  • Policy or claim number
  • What’s gone wrong

If we can’t resolve your concerns straightaway, we’ll write to let you know what we plan to do next. We may need to come back to you for more information, but we’ll keep you updated about what’s happening.

When we’ve finished looking at your complaint, we’ll write to let you know the outcome, including any offer of compensation we’d like to make.

If you’re not happy with our outcome, you can ask the Financial Ombudsman to carry out a free and independent review of your complaint.

Also, if your complaint takes longer than eight weeks to resolve, we will write to you at that time to explain how you can refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you are unhappy with the delay.
