New protection platform to transform protection applications for advisers
Leading protection insurer, Zurich today announces the launch of a new protection platform. Called 'ZHub', the new platform transforms online protection applications for advisers offering a faster and streamlined experience for advisers enabling them to apply for multiple policies in one application. ZHub also provides advisers with a personalised dashboard where they can keep track of their entire protection business with Zurich.
Specifically, ZHub enables advisers to apply for up to five policies under one application, without the need to re-key customer information; and with the introduction of electronic signatures, further time is saved through not having to wait for paper signatures for access to customers’ medical records.
Advisers can access everything they need to support and grow their protection businesses from one place. From the new dashboard, they can access a rich document library offering guides on setting up all types of cover, sales aids and infographics, as well as guidance on specialised areas including IHT, funeral planning and being a trustee.
The launch of ZHub is yet a further major enhancement to Zurich's protection proposition this year including the introduction of electronic signatures, a pilot to introduce electronic GP reports and improvements to its critical illness product. Zurich now offers one of the most comprehensive critical illness propositions in the market with improved policy definitions and 85 conditions including 32 that qualify for additional payments.
Chris Atkinson, Head of Innovation and Partnership Development, Zurich UK Life said, “Our ultimate goal in launching ZHub is to deliver a straight forward and easy to use application process for advisers, focusing on supporting them in getting their customers the cover they need as quickly as possible.
“We’re confident that we’ve transformed our system to be intuitive and responsive to their needs.”
Jeff Woods, Business Development Director, Sesame Bankhall Group said, "We’re always looking for solutions that help make the delivery of quality advice to customers easier. Zurich’s new multi-application approach will speed up the process and encourage advisers to have a more wide-ranging conversation with their clients. Zurich has also introduced electronic signatures and iGPR in an effort to create further efficiencies in the application process.
“By continually improving processes and working more efficiently we are seeking to give advisers more time to have a broader conversation with customers about their needs and Zurich’s new service is a big step forward to achieving this.”
