Zurich FutureYou launched to help people take control of their financial wellbeing

Leading insurer Zurich today announces the launch of Zurich FutureYou, a new online approach to help consumers reach their financial goals.

Zurich FutureYou helps those who want to take control of their financial wellbeing - but haven’t got around to it yet, allowing them to do so in their own time and on their own terms. It offers customers simple to use tools, products, money tips as well as expert advice.

YouGov online research* commissioned by Zurich FutureYou shows that people with aspirations for when they are aged 65 or over are nearly twice as likely to save than those without (52% and 29%). The research found that for the majority, retirement is no longer seen as a time to wind down and put your feet up, with 71% seeking new adventures including global travel and taking up new hobbies.

Through Zurich FutureYou, customers are invited to play ‘Picture This’ to help them visualise the type of retirement they’d like – whether travelling the world or spending time with family. Customers are asked to answer some simple questions about their current pension savings before being presented with a personal profile, the estimated income they’ll need as well as realistic steps they can take to achieve it.

Other interactive tools include a ‘Financial Health Check’ to see where they could benefit from some action such as setting up a rainy day fund or getting to grips with debt.

While exploring the types of financial support they might need customers can invest in a stocks and shares ISA with a range of funds suited to their own risk appetite. They can consolidate their pension pot enabling them to manage their pensions under one roof and they can access life and critical illness insurance. If customers need advice, Zurich FutureYou offers a telephone advice service.

FutureYou DashboardCustomers’ products are all displayed on a personalised dashboard enabling them to see their finances at a glance while accessing useful articles, web chat and the option of financial advice.
