Trips that your customers are considering cancelling

Please contact the Zurich claims team if your wish to discuss your customers' circumstances or to make a claim.

Trips that go ahead

Should customers wish to continue with any pre-booked trip then your policy will apply for the duration of the journey provided that no official warning about travel is in force in relation to the traveller or their destination, published by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, when they depart.

Guidance for customers booking trips now

Were your customers to book a trip to a destination that is subject to a published FCO warning not to travel:

  • We regret that we will not cover Delay/Cancellation/Rearrangement or Political Evacuation expenses
  • We will consider offering other aspects of cover on submission of your details to your usual Zurich Underwriting contact.

It is important to follow advice published on the FCO website.
