  • CCHF All About Kids, West Sussex give severely disadvantaged children the benefit of a residential and activity break.  Our £5,000 grant will be dedicated entirely to the costs of  breaks in the summer of 2011.
  • Rainbow Trust, Surrey provides emotional & practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.  Our £5,000 grant will cover part of the costs of a Family Support Worker  
  • Demelza Children’s Hospice, Kent provide high quality palliative care to life-limited & life threatened children & young people and their families across Kent, East Sussex, Surrey & S London.  Our £10,000 grant will provide environmental controls in 5 of the children’s bedrooms specifically designed & fitted out for teenagers.
  • Islay & Jura Community Enterprises Limited Argyll (Scotland) provide rehabilitation therapy for physically and mentally disabled adults and children through sporting, leisure and educational activities improving their quality of life.  Our £6,931.00 grant will fund the Preparation & Submission of building warrant application and installation of internal lift for disabled children and young people to be able to access a range of activities. 
  • Special Educational Needs Families Support Group, Manchester support families of children with disabilities and special needs. Our £3,785.00 grant will go towards activity room to be used by our clients to improve their personal skills and education. 
  • Tyume Valley Schools Development Association, South Africa improve the standard of education and educational opportunities open to young people who live in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Tyume Valley is a deprived rural area with high levels of HIV/AIDS, poverty and unemployment.  Our £5,000 grant will purchase a replacement minibus to provide transport from outlying schools to the resource centre where the programme will be held. 
  • Our New Family, Newcastle upon Tyne help children who have never experienced family life to have a Mum and Dad and know warmth and security of being part of a family. Our £5,000 grant will upgrade and extend the home we own in Poland by adding a pitched roof with two attic bedrooms, bathroom and extending the kitchen to create a porch. 
  • Action For Kids, UK wide remove the barriers to independence experienced by disabled children and young people. Our £7,646.70 grant will purchase equipment.
  • Rockinghorse, Brighton improves the lives of sick and disabled children in Sussex and Surrey by ensuring facilities and services are as cutting edge and child friendly as possible. Our £8,000 grant will fund specialist medical and multi sensory equipment for sick or disabled children.
