Successfully established the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. Hosted by The Mental Health Foundation, 14 member charities working with and on behalf of children and young people in relation to their mental health, aims to achieve policy changes at the highest level that will directly improve the mental health of children and young people across the UK.
Worked with The Place2Be to broker meetings with statutory commissioners that have enabled them to continue and expand their service in the London Borough of Croydon. In addition ZCT have extended the partnership over 2011 to continue support in Croydon, replicate leverage of funding in Nottingham and set up a funder’s event to attract long term sustainability.

Managed the rollout of the mental health awareness project, Working for Wellbeing, on The Prince’s Trust’s Team programme across England. At the end of the year, 180 Prince’s Trust staff and Team Leaders had been given mental health awareness training, 20 student social workers had been on work placements on Team programmes and around 2,000 young people not in education, training or employment had been impacted by the programme.
