Zurich's BC&IT Cycle Challenge team has made it to the finishing line at Land's End (pictured above). Starting on Friday 15 July the brave squad of 18 Zurich riders ventured out on their bikes, braving the wind and rain (and anything else Mother Nature could throw at them) to ride 400 miles in 4 days. The aim of all that pedalling was to raise £10,000 for Zurich Community Trust including 50% matching.
The team rode approximately 400 miles; over the South Downs and also through the Dartmoor National Park! The route started in Gravesend and took the squad to Croydon and Brighton (some of Zurich's offices). Following Brighton, the cyclists rode across the Isle of Wight and then the New Forest. They then passed/struggled through Dartmoor and ended the challenge at Land’s End on Monday 18 July at around 20.00 after an exhausting 4 days of cycling.
We'll bring you their blogs and more photos soon. In the meantime, congratulations to the team on a fantastic achievement.
